AMAN KARANDE
“Seeing that precious smile on my clients face after the tattoo is done is motivation for me to give my best on every tattoo.”
About Aman
Aman draws his inspiration from modern life and technology. For Aman, the power of creating is what keeps him motivated as an artist. He believes that being an artist gives him the ability to see the world from a different perspective, allowing him to create things that wouldn't be possible without an artist's mindset.
To get better at his craft, Aman believes in practicing his art and observing how it evolves over time. He seeks guidance from mentors, with Eric being his main mentor, passing on his knowledge and experience to Aman.
Art
Currently, Aman enjoys doing black and white realistic pieces and small color work. However, he is determined to master gothic calligraphy/dark lettering and color realism. If he wasn't a tattoo artist, he would be a full-time dancer, performer, and choreographer.
Before he started tattooing, Aman was a full-time dancer, teaching small kids and doing shows. He used to draw here and there, but it wasn't until he discovered graffiti that he knew he wanted to pursue art forever. His friends were his canvas, and he used to doodle on their bags, books, and arms until he saw a graffiti piece by Alchemy from Mumbai that inspired him to take his passion for art seriously.
Tattooing
Aman's journey hasn't been without its challenges. His father's sudden operation while he was preparing his portfolio almost derailed his plans, but with the encouragement of a friend, he sent his work to Eric anyway. And it paid off!
Aman's best work to date is a skull with smoke, which he loves the most. As an IRONBUZZ artist, Aman has the space to focus on his art and access to amazing mentors. The team at IRONBUZZ is fun to work and learn with, and the speakers are always good.
