MAYUR SOLANKI
“Seeing that precious smile on my clients face after the tattoo is done is motivation for me to give my best on every tattoo.”
About Mayur
Mayur's passion for art was ignited by his father who was also an artist. He learned everything he knows from his dad's incredible skills in drawing and crafting.
As with any craft, practice makes perfect, and Mayur knows it. He has had many great teachers along the way, including Aadesh, Pramod, Eric, Jayesh, and others. Their mentorship has contributed to his artistry and his ability to tattoo just about anything. Mayur has no specific style at the moment, but he's looking forward to continuing his artistic exploration.
Mayur's career journey has taken him in many directions. His childhood dream was to work in the film industry, possibly as an animator or even a cricketer or gym trainer. However, he eventually landed in tattooing, and he's glad he did. He's still learning and growing every day.
Art
Before landing a full-time job in tattooing, Mayur worked multiple part-time jobs. He juggled three to four different places in a day, including working as a delivery boy. Mayur knows the struggles of working hard to make ends meet.
Mayur's biggest disappointment came when he had practiced for two and a half years to qualify for the army and police. Just one week before the physical exam, he suffered a minor fracture in his right leg during practice, and he failed to qualify. However, Mayur turned his misfortune into an opportunity and decided to pursue his passion for tattooing.
Tattooing
Mayur is always striving to improve his craft. Although he's done some incredible work, he believes his best is yet to come.
Mayur believes that he is still learning and has not created his best work yet. But he is grateful for the opportunity that came his way when he got a chance to work at Ironbuzz under the mentorship of Eric and Diana. It changed his life and gave him the chance to grow as an artist. Mayur is proud of his work, and he likes everything about working at Ironbuzz.
